NM Amateur Radio Repeater Database
NM_Repeaters.pdb is a Palm database of frequencies,
locations and required PL tones of all 2 meter repeaters in NM.
Or, if you prefer, here is a zip archive.
It also includes some data
from other
frequency bands. The data was translated from
this page and checked
against the Upper Rio FM Society Repeater Operations Guide and the
1999/2000 ARRL repeater directory. The accuracy is only as good as these sources
were, and corrections and additions are welcome.
The Upper Rio
repeaters include Lat/Lon in Degrees, minutes, seconds format (i.e. 35 03 26.7 106 35 12.9), since that information is provided in the Upper Rio operations guide. It would
be nice to have that data for the other repeaters in the area.
You need to install the List database
application (local copy here, list.prc) before you
transfer the data to your palm.
List is a free database application that allows you to search, sort and organize
the data better than a plain memo-type format would allow.
The list package allows you
to create the database in a plain-text format, and then translate the text file
to a palm database. This is considerably faster than entering the data directly
into the palm. Follow this link to access the text
file that the database was created from.
